ABOUT THE COUNSELOR
My name is Julieta Edmond, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in depression, anxiety, parent-child interaction, trauma, anger management, and stress management. With a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals, children, families, and couples navigate their mental health challenges.
As a passionate advocate for mental well-being, I provide counseling services in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility for a diverse range of clients. I firmly believe that effective therapy involves creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns.
Currently, I am based in Lufkin, Texas, where I see clients in person. However, I also offer virtual counseling sessions to individuals throughout Texas, ensuring that geographical boundaries do not hinder anyone from receiving the support they need.
My approach to counseling is rooted in evidence-based practices, and I tailor my techniques to suit each individual's unique needs. I utilize a client-centered approach, working collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that empower them to overcome their challenges and achieve personal growth.
Throughout my practice, I have had the privilege of assisting clients with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, parent-child interaction difficulties, life adjustments, and stress management. I believe in the transformative power of therapy and the potential for individuals to experience positive changes in their lives.
By fostering a compassionate and nonjudgmental space, I aim to help my clients develop coping skills, gain self-awareness, build resilience, and cultivate healthy relationships. I am dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being, and I find immense fulfillment in witnessing my clients' progress and growth.
If you are seeking support in any of the areas I specialize in, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can embark on a therapeutic journey that will empower you to overcome your challenges and thrive.
